Christmas & New Year Holidays
The surgery will be closed on:
- Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th December 2024
- Wednesday 1st January 2025
Please order your repeat prescription 7 days in advance of when it is required.
This is to allow the GP practice and Community Pharmacy time to process your prescription, to ensure you do not run out of your medicines when the GP practice or community pharmacy is closed
Please do not order an increased supply of medicines if you do not need them.
Only order a prescription for the medicines you actually require.

WE MOVED TO NEW PREMISES ON WEDNESDAY 22 FEBRUARY 2023
From Wednesday 22 February 2023 we are located on Level 1 in the new Lisburn Primary Care Centre at the Lagan Valley site. Repeat prescription ordering will operate as normal and there is no need for early request of medication.

Text Message Reminders
We have installed a software package that allows us to send text messages to patients’ mobile phones. Text messages are faster and more ecologically friendly than writing to you and are often more convenient than a telephone call or message.
We will send a reminder for all routine appointments such as Asthma, Flu and Diabetic etc to patients over 16 years of age. If you wish to register for this service, please complete the consent form.
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS
Following guidance received from the Health & Social Care Board we have decided to make changes to the system for ordering prescriptions.
Patients who receive items on a repeat prescription MUST order them directly from us and not from their chemist, except in exceptional circumstance.
This can be done:
When we are open
- Face to face at the reception desk
- Phoning the practice (028 9260 3111) - please avoid calling 8.30-9.30am when patients are ringing for urgent appointments.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year
- On the Repeat Prescribing Line (028 92501289)
- Online via the Practice website
You can specify ONE chemist to collect your repeat prescriptions from the surgery. If you wish to use this service, please ask reception for a consent form.
If you change your mind or wish to change the chemist you use at a later date, then you must let us know.
