The Practice has been informed by the Health & Social Care Board that some patients have been contacted by “bogus callers” claiming to be linked to the Practice in order to sell products or extract financial information including bank details.

If you receive a call of this nature, DO NOT disclose any personal information and contact the surgery immediately.

Out of Hours

LAGANDOC, the local out of hours provider, looks after the urgent needs of patients from 6.00 pm to 8.30 am weekdays, and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays.  Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Appointments

Appointments can be made through reception. Telephone 028 9260 3111 or via this website with your login (ask at reception for details). Normal appointments are for 10 minutes only and cannot accommodate two people unless prior agreed by the doctor.  Please note that appointments that will require longer than 10 minutes such as minor surgical procedures or private medicals are not appropriate to book online and should be booked by telephone.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can order you repeat prescriptions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on the 24 hour repeat prescription line (02892603111 option 1) or through this website with your login (ask at reception for details).

PRACTICE EARLY CLOSURE

The Practice will be closed from 1pm on Thursday 30 January for staff training.  For urgent medical problems during these periods, please ring Lagandoc GP Out of Hours Service on 028 9260 2204.
