Appointments
You can book appointments by telephone, online or in person.
To make an appointment by telephone please call the main Practice number (028 9260 3111 - option 2) between 8.30am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Online appointments can be booked on our Practice website. You will receive a unique online access code on request from Reception.
All routine appointments are for 10 minutes and are for the named Patient only. You may be asked to make a further appointment if you have a number of matters to discuss.
Patients are registered with the Practice rather than an individual doctor. You may consult with any of the doctors by making a routine appointment. When making an appointment, you can express a preference for a particular doctor. If your specified doctor is fully booked or unavailable due to absence, this will be explained to you and you will be offered an appointment with one of the other doctors.
Appointment Delays and 10 Minute Intervals
Patients Late - Poster
Urgent Problems
The Practice operates a Triage System where a patient contacting the surgery with a request for same day access is contacted by a member of the Primary Care Clinical Team who will decide the appropriate clinical management. If you require same day access you should request this as soon as possible after 8.30am. The receptionist will ask the nature of the problem as this will help the clinician to prioritise your call. We understand if you would rather not provide this information however this may delay your treatment.
Online Services
The practice operates a secure online system which allows you to book and cancel appointments and order repeat medication. To register for this this service you are required attend the Practice in person. A member of our Reception team will register you for this service and will provide you with your personal access code.
The online services are accessible via the Practice website.
Appointments requiring longer than 10 minutes may only be booked directly with a member of the Reception team.
Check-in Service
The Practice has a self check-in kiosk located at Reception. We would encourage you to use this when booking in for your appointment in order to avoid unnecessary queues and delays.
Interpreter Services
Interpreter services are available for patients whose first language is not English and for patients who have a hearing impairment. Requests for these services should be made through reception at the time of booking your appointment.
